Macron responds to footage of first lady shoving his face
Macron stated, refusing the allegations of a domestic argument: “we were joking, nothing more, nothing less. And this has turned into some kind of geopolitical catastrophe.”
The footage, taped by many international media organizations, caught the second the leader airplane door started to open on Sunday night, capturing the president’s wife shoving his face with her hand.
As they went down the stairs to greet the expecting Vietnamese representatives, Macron seemed to give his arm to the first lady, but she appeared to who seemed to dismiss ignore it.
Macron disapproved online madness over the video. And saying "I see many crazies spending a lot of time interpreting these videos” specifying that the speculated video had been overstated or created fake stories online.
