Two Die as Fires Sweep Through House in Philippine
(MENAFN) Two distinct house fires swept through the Philippine capital on Wednesday, claiming the lives of a 15-year-old girl and a 78-year-old man, while leaving two others injured, officials from the Philippines Bureau of Fire Protection confirmed.
In the early morning before 7:30 a.m. local time, a blaze engulfed a residence in Taguig City, resulting in the tragic death of a teenage girl. The incident also displaced 10 people and caused injuries to a woman. Firefighters successfully extinguished the flames within 30 minutes.
Later that day, just before 1 p.m. local time, a second fire erupted in Malabon City. This fire took the life of an elderly man and wounded a 38-year-old male victim. Responders controlled the fire swiftly, bringing it under control in under half an hour.
Authorities have launched investigations to uncover the origins of both destructive fires.
